A good to visit place for tourists who come to pondi. They have been maintaining the museum well and good. Photography and videography is not allowed. Entry fee for adults is 10Rs. Also visit the art gallery within the compound. Also try to spend some time in the open area .

Amazing museum , well maintained .
French and old Indian cultural museum.
It's a must visit place in puducherry.
Entry charge is 10 rupees.
No photography and videography allowed inside the museum.
Museum will open 9:00 am in the morning upto 6 in the evening.

The museum is well maintained and a great place to learn and know about the history, they have indian as well as french history pieces that one can learn from this museum. The arti facts ranges from some 11 year old to centuries old to 20 million year old piece of history. The gallery contains rock sculptures, wood pieces, old weapons, coins, french cutleries, furniture and rooms of french style which looks really awestruck and amazing.
