Pros : Reception staff is very good. Location is very good.

Cons : Not matching the price point which they charge for room and food. Rooms are ok.
Kindly tell your room boy to not drink while providing service. Also people smoke everywhere.

Price is quite reasonable and cheaper compared to other lodge. Best thing about this you can request them for extra mattress and pillows in case more people are gonna stay up in a room. Also, it's quite close to the beach and other places you would like to visit when you're in Pondichery .Maximum of 4-5people can stay in a room for Rs1500 rent per night for a single non ac room* weekend prices may vary though*

My partner and I shared a double room here but were shocked at the lack of pride from staff/whoever owns the hotel that has gone into the place. About the only good this about it is the location.

When we arrived staff were friendly. Our room however, was extremely unclean, the walls smothered in filth and could really do with a deep clean and a fresh lick of paint. Not to mention the amounth of dust that has gathered over the years, no doubt. The smell really resonates as a result of the uncleanliness. There was also a live cockroach crawling around under the bed... This was absolutely unacceptable!!! The tap in the bathroom did not work and there was also no toilet lid.

We were also greeted with a million mosquitos in the room and did not feel comfortable showering for fear of getting eaten alive. We asked for some repellant and maybe a room on a higher level but the staff did not seem too bothered with our request and also didn't seem to respond to our complaint with any care - they did at least, take a spray repellant throughout our room but this did not help at all. Luckily we were staying at a not-so-hot time of year so I dread to think what the stay would be like at a hotter time of year. Luckily we had a mosquito net of our own, otherwise we would have refused to stay in this hotel given the conditions.

Overall, the hotel needs some love and attention as this was all completely unacceptable for the price. We have stayed in a lot of budget hotels thoughout our time in India and this is by far the worst.
