Nice place to visit. Dont know much about history of kangla fort but good to see such a beautiful monument.

It is known to be the "Plinth of King's Residence", located in the eastern campus of the Kangla Fort of Kingdom of Manipur. It is a precious historical monument of Kingdom of Manipur. The Kangla is located in the middle of Imphal City and is a must visit place for all people of Manipur and tourists visiting Manipur. Tourists can enjoy their morning walk and it is about 5 minutes walk from most of the best hotel in Imphal.
