Surreal, very calming environment. We went in the morning and reached around 9 am. The surroundings were very good. We were amazed by the beauty of nature.
Due to clouds it was difficult to see some things. Also you have to be careful while walking as things are not clearly visible due to clouds.
Recommend to read history before visiting the fort, so you can feel the importance of the place when you are walking there.
I don't recommend visiting on Sunday because there will be huge traffic jams as most of the people park their vehicles on the road side. Even when we visited on Saturday, when we left around 2 in the afternoon we were stuck around 1 hr.
Another suggestion is you can trek route, I did not go that route, so not sure about the difficulty. Next time definitely I am definitely going to trek to Sinhagad Fort.

Visited just two weeks back. And I am so happy that I witnessed the beauty of Sinhagad during monsoons. It’s indeed very visible in the pictures. You can check it out.
Since it is a bit far from the main city and you might find traffics on the way, I would suggest you to visit early in the day instead of going in the evening. If you are visiting in evening after 3 PM you might not be able to explore everything. Since the place covers good geographical area. Even if you are visiting in morning, you can spend the whole day there as it has good places to sit and relax. Food is easily available there. Also, you can visit with family for a weekend picnic . ???? Regarding vehicle and parking, I would suggest not to park on the way up on roadsides, as it causes more traffic. Go till the end you can find plenty of space for parking on the top.
