We had been longing to go to this place to eat being a malayali.
1st time we went during dussehra it was full, we didn't get a place to sit.
We booked for a reservation on Christmas then.
Firstly the ambience is good, gives a feel of Kerala with photo frames of street photography of Kerala.
There is a counter of Appam also
Being a vegetarian, there are limited options on the menu.
Non veg options are very good.
We had relatives who tried the non veg menu.
We ordered Appam and vegetable stew and Malabar curry.
Appam was little thick and little sour.
Malabar curry was good nice and spicy.
Stew was also good.
Non veg we ordered prawns mappas, fish fry and biryani.
Prawns mappas was very tasty.
Fish fry was not that fresh.
Biryani was okay.
Portion size is good.
The best part was dessert
We had coconut icecream, jaggery custard and payassam
Coconut icecream was very unique and yummyyyyy
Jaggery custard was also very good.
Payassam was okay.
All in all may be we had more expectations from this place for South Indian food.
Can try it once for sure.
There are thali options also.

Recently visited kerala cafe for lunch. There was family crowd here, but the service was not that great. Its a beautiful place with lovely ambience but the seating arrangement would have been more better.
The quantity of food was not that good. We really liked the starter- chicken leg piece. It was spicy & well cooked. Would highly recommend you to try this starter.
Also ordered the chicken curry with appam. Appam were not upto the mark. Had high expectations from this place.
Overall experience:-
Ambience-4/5
Service-3/5
Food-3/5

Packaging was beautiful.
Good quantity.
We tried -
1. Thalassery biryani(egg is added to this) and Malabar biryani. Both tastes almost same but the gravy in Thalassery biryani is slightly better. They give briyani with raita
2. Chicken oil fry ( decent taste but it was over fried)
3. Chicken Naadan curry (decent)
4. Chicken 65 ( delicious )
Staffs here are really friendly and polite.
