This, I believe is one of the most neglected historically significant places in Pune. Even the Shivlinga that used to be within the ruins seems to be missing now. Over the years, people have used this once sacred place for drinking alcohol & sex (I have seen the bottles & condoms with my own eyes). It is in desperate need of attention for government authorities for preservation & restoration. I'm positive there would be photographic records somewhere of the original temple somewhere in government records. Please pay attention to this.
