Been here quite a few times and now when I can take fully guarantee of the food, service and the overall experience, I've decided to write a review based on my recent visit to Kangan. Visited this place twice in a row and each time I've had a beautiful experience
This review is based on my last night's experience at Kangan at their Hyderabadi Food Festival :-
1. Patthar Gosht - Scrumptious Hyderabadi kebabs, marinated lamb pieces and grilled on a hot stone. I quite liked the kebabs. The consistency was beautiful and the meat was cooked well. Oh bdw, these are thinly sliced lamb pieces.
2. Murgh Sarfiya Kalimiri - Chicken thighs marinated in cardamom and peppercorns grilled in a coal tandoor. This one was the best out of the lot. Not that the rest weren't but we actually called for a second helping. It's extremely creamy and is melt in mouth. Good job by chef Gaurav!
3. Murgh Gilafi Seekh - Skewered minced chicken kebabs sprinkled with fresh herbs and cheese. This was the second best, just have it hot. Ofcourse we clicked a thousand pictures and it went cold but yet it was beautiful.
4. Hariyali Machchi Tikka - I am not a fan of fish when it comes to kebabs but this one was exceptionally beautiful. Fish cubes marinated in green spices and cooked in tandoor. Now it's quite a tricky job to tandoor a fish but this came out really well.
5. Chooza Biryani - I somehow fell in love with the chicken biryani this time. I don't know why and how but this was amazing. I kind of gobbled everything down within seconds and thus this one came out as a clear winner.
6. Mutton Biryani - Let's be honest, I'm a little biased towards the chicken one thus wouldn't want to comment on this one. Try and share your experience with me.
7. Ras Malai - One can never go wrong with ras malai.
Overall, the Hyderabadi food festival is the bomb. Also I've tried their regular menu and all that I have had is awesome. I'm a huge fan of their dal kangan. A must visit place if you're a fan of North Indian food.

We went kangan for our Anniversary dinner. Very nice experience, authentic North Indian food, freshly cooked and super tasty, great service by staff.
We got complimentary masala nan which was very tasty. Bcoz it was our anniversary so got complimentary dessert, here they disappointed us, didn’t liked it ☹️ one star less in rating because of this only.
But will definitely gonna visit again ????

The food here is authentic & flavourful, do try the dal kangan speciality. The service is commendable. They have a variety of choices in vegetarian & non vegetarian. Its a complete mix of indian flavours & worth a visit.
