It's a beautiful trail! Entrance is from Kanheri Caves. There is a single forest trail with chalk marks. Easy to follow. Some steep sections but mostly gentle ascend. View from the top is really nice.
It's doable yourself and guide isn't really needed.
Did this in February, so it wasn't as green as monsoon, but there were dense patches of green

Further exploring Sanjay Gandhi National Park through its core area to the highest point of the National Park....with the assistance of NIC and other forest guides........................
Wonderful experience learning about the fauna and flora especially about various species of Birds, spiders, insects butterfly and much more with trained forest officials...........
