Simple, unpretentious, tasty food. And authentic too.

I tried their dabeli and misal. Both had similar ingredients, but misal tasted better and was more flavorful.

The taste of the aloo masala is well balanced by the sweet/tangy chutney and the chili/garlic chutney. They put generous amounts of the masala too. Lip-smacking. Not too oily, not too buttery. And the roasted peanuts that they add … just yum. A very satisfying meal.

I have tasted a lot of Gujarati/Kutchi dabeli and misal. In Mumbai, some sellers try and modify the taste to make it more suitable for the local palate — like they add more butter to pav while roasting (Ghatkopar station road is one example of this). This guy doesn’t do that. He takes his time making the misal and roasting the dabeli, carefully applying chutneys and spreading the sev. He seems interested in serving his food the right way.

On the same street is Kapil’s dabeli center (famously known as Dancing Dabeliwala). I prefer Bharat’s taste to Kapil’s overly sweet, oily food.

Go for it if you are around Andheri metro and looking for a quick street meal. You will definitely feel like ordering one more after eating one.
