This is fishermen area. Not a beach to take family to play in shore.
Area with 3KM radius smells with sea food. Fishermen dries fishes, prawns, crabs and other sea food on roads and sea shore area.
Road approach is very narrow and highly dense with local people. Kachaa road need to be careful as you may drive in sea food kept on road.
Over all, we went with kids to play in water. We couldn’t spend one minute there.

Instead of Uttan beach , pls prefer Velankanni beach. The famous Velankanni church is near the beach and the sunset was amazing. Local auto will take 50rs. from the uttan chowk to Velankanni beach.

Beautiful view...much cleaner from beaches in south mumbai...enjoy the breeze of sunset and sunrise over here
