Had a bad fever and it was a Sunday. Most of the medical shops in my vicinity remain closed. Googled for a nearby shop and this was open. I called them and placed an order through what's app. They delivered the order.

After two days requested them for medicines which would cost below 100 Rs only. They replied that they need minimum 300 Rs order for delivery. I told I didn't need it. They came back replying to me which was the most funny part.

"Ningade veedu Usha deviyude veedinte aduthano? Ennal njangal avide delivery cheyyumbol varam"
Is your home near Usha devis house? Then we will deliver. This was such a horrible attitude from a business establishment especially a medical shop.

I ordered the same medicines through WhatsApp to a usual nearby down to earth medical shop "Janashraya Community Pharmacy" shop in Ambalamukku. It is a small shop but their customer dealings is right on top notch. I have experienced such attitude from the buisness establishments overseas only. I thought they are closed on Sundays but the delivery guy explained that they are open on Sundays as well. You can order any medicine, they will procure it from anywhere and will get delivered to your house. Though if they don't have stock it might take upto the same day evening. They have discounts as well.

Do search for other alternatives if you can. Avoid this shop for online purchases.

Placed an order of medicines, through the official WhatsApp number of Kowddyar Medicals, with a request for Home Delivery and even called them on phone to draw their attention to the message. The staff who attended the call promised to check. Since no call or message came, even after 20 mins, I called again to check the status. The staff, one Mr. Jagadish (if I recollect right) told me- discount is not possible for Home Delivery or at least a minimum order of Rs 1000/- is required.

I brought to his attention about my previous purchases from them whereby a min 10% discount was provided and delivered on earlier occasions, even for orders worth about Rs 200/- and no such concerns were raised by them then. Moreover, when I initially took note of their contact number while I made a visit to their store, I was told there was no such thing as minimum order value for Home Delivery. As I reminded these points, in reply, the gentleman says today that the concerned staff who may have processed the previous deliveries is currently not available so he cant do anything about it.

Annoyed by the horrible attitude, I had then disconnected the call and looked for any other pharmacies in the vicinity. Found one on Google just about 100 mtrs away from Kowdyar Medicals and gave it a try by ringing them up. Thankfully, they behaved in a cordial manner and even voluntarily offered a better discount. The medicines were delivered in another 20 mins free of charge. All in a matter of one hour.

This review is put up to make Kowdyyar Medicals and the likes realize that it is rude to have a customer remind his previous deals with you, apparently due to a lack of internal communication or understanding, regarding customer relation policies like discount and home delivery. It is to be noted that I had even taken an effort to send an appreciation message to the pharmacy on an earlier occasion, on finding a delivery executive very well behaved in doing his job, but, now having to put this up.

I am not very sure whether this effort of mine in putting this up would bring about any positive change in the way you treat your customers in future, but, sure, this may serve as heads-up to your existing and new customers who may have to go through what I did today.

Had a very good customer service and staff behaviour and on time delivery .They have very efficient and friendly service .Good availability of stocks .they have well groomed staffs with great communication and good product knowledge .I'm their regular customer and getting prompt services regularly.
