I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kottayam Kitchen, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.

For my meal, I decided to try the Kappa biriyani beef and the kothu porotta beef. Both dishes were truly delightful and lived up to my expectations. The Kappa biriyani, in particular, was outstanding. The combination of tender beef and flavorful spices with the unique addition of tapioca (kappa) created a mouthwatering fusion of flavors that left me craving for more. The dish was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, showcasing the skill of the chef.

Similarly, the kothu porotta beef was a delicious choice. The chopped and sautéed porotta combined with succulent beef and aromatic spices resulted in a delightful medley of textures and tastes. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the dish was presented beautifully.

While the food at Kottayam Kitchen exceeded my expectations, I must admit that the drinks were somewhat average. Although they were refreshing, they didn't have the same wow factor as the food. While this did not significantly impact my overall dining experience, it is an area that could be improved upon.

In terms of pricing, the dishes at Kottayam Kitchen were reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes provided. The value for money was certainly there, considering the excellent flavors and generous portions.

Overall, my experience at Kottayam Kitchen was enjoyable. The standout dishes, such as the Kappa biriyani beef and kothu porotta beef, were exceptional, showcasing the restaurant's ability to deliver mouthwatering flavors. While the drinks were average, the attentive service and reasonable pricing made up for it. I would certainly recommend Kottayam Kitchen to those seeking a satisfying meal in a welcoming environment.

During my recent visit to Kottayam Kitchen in Kazhakoottam, I had some high hopes. However, I was disappointed to find that the biriyani was served cold, while my pineapple mojito was served hot due to a lack of ice. Though the taste of the food was not bad, it was certainly not up to the mark that I was expecting.

Regrettably, the slow service at the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, it took an unnecessarily long time to process my order. On the positive side, the ambiance was average, and the restaurant was well-maintained and clean, including the wash area.

While the restaurant's location near a service road made it easy to find, parking was a bit of a hassle since it was only available on the roadside. This may pose a challenge during peak hours. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at the restaurant, as the promised "coolest biriyani" failed to live up to expectations. The unusual temperature of the food and drink, coupled with the slow service, made for a less-than-stellar visit. Thus, based on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Had dinner yesterday and ordered chatti porotta chicken and beef biriyani.
biriyani was nice with lots of beef pieces and pappadam is also available.
I mostly prefer biriyani with pappadam.
And the taste was also good.

And about chatti chicken it is coming with omlet, steamed egg, chicken curry, chicken fry and porotta.

The taste was average. omlet and chicken fry was nice but chicken curry was not so good also the steamed egg is cold and not tasty.
