The zoo is currently home to ten elephants, and has more elephants than any other zoo in India. A total of 34 elephants have lived at this zoo, many of which were eventually transferred to other zoos.The zoo also has five green anacondas, contributed by Colombo Zoo. Nice place visited with friends the ticket have been increased since last time and now the direction for movement in zoo also changed entries also change most of tourist visit here after or before mysore palace so cool andwell maintained zoo there are different types of birds all most or more than fifty types . The arrangement here are done in sequence like at first you see birds , then animals cheetah has been kept in more secure than lion and tiger.
