Was surprised to learn that this home-style eatery is in vogue since 1998, particularly since Mysore is my native town and I take pride in knowing all the old-time eateries in the city! A home-made meals (only lunch is served here, no breakfast and no dinner) that too served for limited people! Right now, the place can only accommodate 16 persons at a time and typically each batch spends about 30 to 40 minutes for lunch. This leaves with only about 60 to 70 people savouring lunch here! But the owner informed that in less than a week's time, they will be able to cater to 50 people at a time in a single batch as they have made arrangements in the first floor to serve food. That's great news as I saw several people returning disappointedly as they had no seats available when I was there.

U will get a very gud vegetarian lunch at Grand Old 'Sandhyas House'. Neat and clean area, Tasty food, good service. I can say it's almost perfect. Very minor improvements suggested are usage of copper/steel glass instead of paper cups and add Payasam to the menu. Still it's best

Mind blowing experience ! Amazing food , it was very tasty . Had wide range of food ! It’s home made food ( ele oota ) . They give the food on banana leaf . There’s a lady , the owner , she herself prepares food . She has a son who looks after everyone. The location of this place is also good . Very calm place . There’s some positive energy in the house . Instead of eating junk food it’s better you come and have here , very healthy food and hygienic food . I have made it clear that when ever I am in Mysore I’ll surely go here and have , and recommend each and everyone of you to go there and have food , when you are travelling . ;))
