I recently had the pleasure of trying the Sunday breakfast buffet at Kings Kourt Hotel in Mysore. It was reasonably priced at INR 210 for a sumptuous South Indian breakfast with a couple of continental-indian fusion dishes, cereals, dosas & eggs at the live counter.
The spread was extensive, with something to please everyone. There were all the classic South Indian dishes like idli, dosa varieties (Mysore Butter Masala, Crispy paper roast, Neer dosa & Set dosa), vada, upma, poori, and rice bath. There were also a few more unusual dishes like rice bath and chicken curry. For the continental lovers, there was a selection of Omelettes, super fresh & soft Veggie sandwich and cereals. And of course, there was a live counter where you could order your own dosa or omelette.
The quality of the food was excellent. The idli and dosa were soft and fluffy, the vada was crispy and flavorful, and the upma was perfectly cooked. The continental dishes were also well-prepared. I particularly enjoyed the South Indian style Macaroni and Kerasi Bath.
The service was ordinary and nothing impressive. This is something they can improve on.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Kings Kourt Hotel's Sunday breakfast buffet at the Kudla Fish land restaurant. It was a great way to start my day in Mysore. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable breakfast in the city.
Here are some of the specific dishes that I enjoyed:
Idli: Soft and fluffy, the idli was the perfect way to start my breakfast.
Dosa: Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the dosa was a delicious and masala filling Mysore speciality.
Vada: The vada was crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. It was a great way to start my day with a bit of spice.
Upma: The upma was perfectly cooked and had a nice nutty flavor. It was a great way to get my day started with a healthy dose of carbohydrates
I would definitely recommend Kings Kourt Hotel's Sunday breakfast buffet to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable breakfast in Mysore. It is a great way to start your day with a variety of South Indian and continental dishes.

Specially visited the restaurant for their Mangalorean fish thali but it was not available for dinner. But as most of those dishes were available ala carte we ordered and savoured it.
Prawn ghee roast - Just wowwwwwwww dont miss it.
Neer dosa - perfect with the prawn ghee roast. Thin, soft and melt in mouth
Banguda Rava fry- lacked salt spice and the kick of a lemon marination. It was average.
Fresh river fish curry- right amount of tanginess and spice. Mind blowing taste.
Also ordered daal tadka and rice for dad . Daal was very good
Had two cocktails daiquiri, tai mai and got a cosmopolitan free. Cocktails were strong and good.
