The staff is knowledgeable and mostly helpful.

We went to this shop. The shop is well kept, but the staff of the emporium was least interested in showing the stuff. Most of the govt emporium shop -keepers behaviour is as if they are doing a great favour to us by showing things. After COVID when the business is so bad, one is always looking at improving the business by being more cheerful.

Secondly the trial room they have converted in their lunch area, so the staff refused to even give us a trial and told us to try everything over the dress. When I asked where is the trial room, she said we don't have one. When I saw they had one trial room. Initially, she did not allow me to use it, after the request she allowed, when I used the so-called their pantry I realised it was a proper trial room but it has been used for their pantry and dumping place for their stuff.

Plus the top that we bought was wrongly size labelled so we had to go next day to exchange.
All these emporium jobs are govt jobs so like any other govt employee, their attitude is pathetic and they draw the salary for just talking over the phone and making faces when we tell them to show some stuff. Wish govt think of changing this model. The material they sell is so good. But the sheer attitude of the staff kills the business, that's why this emporium will never do any good business despite good stuff .
