Very nice and cheap hotel, the staff and the owner is very helpful and nice. They will arrange Cabs for traveling to Kufri or Manali. The food quality is good and cheap. Room no.39 is the best family room. The hotel is located at road level and very near the Christ Church, mall road, Lakkar bazar and IGMC hospital.
Enjoyed my stay in Shimla.

Pathetic place, not hygienic at all, no cust service , and nonscence staff, they can abuse you as well if you complaint, I got a texi booked which didn't turn up for more than 20 min, then I got a different texi hired my self and after 10 min I got a call from some satish bhardwaj from hotel, who started abusing me. This place works only because it's near IGMC and i believe people who come with the patients stay there. They charge me 1400 for a night and the roof of the room was leaking which I came to know when it starts raining in the mid night. I asked for food to be delivered in the room they said you have to get it from outside on your own, when I asked for plates I got 2 dirty plates. I can keep going on and on but it doesnot make any sense. To conclude I will say don't stay there at all, this place is the most pathetic place to stay and charges are high like a five star. He was asking for 2500 for a stinking room. When I said no to that one he showed me a different room which was just as pathetic as the previous one but just a bit better coz it had windows and I that we opened to get some breathable air in, toilets were blocked but I came to know this an hour later. Now why I checked in coz me and my wife were tired after walking all the way from lakar bazzar bus stand with two heavy bags and we were too exhausted to find another place, and this hotel staff didn't even bother about carrying those bags for us to the 2nd floor of hotel, what else don't spoil your stay at shimla by staying at satkar. They will simply loot you, coz paying 2000 for a dirty room doesnot worth. It will spoil you mood as well. If you need any proof of what I said let me know I can upload the recording of the conversation as well that I had with him over the phone. Just don't ruin your vacation by staying here. It does not worth even 1 star but I have to give 1 star unfortunately

Third class hotel third class rooms third class hospitality third class food everything third class.Better stay in a dharmshala then this hotel i have given 1 star to give my review not worth at all.Pathetic experience. Sometimes electricity goes sometimes water goes smelly rooms nobody cares nobody listens i had gone to shimla with a group of 43 everybody was complaining but could not change hotel as group organisers had paid them advance..
