Silver Galerie has an excellent range of items for a wide price range. They have plenty to choose from and the quality is excellent. I have been buying gift items from them for the last 3 years and each one has been highly appreciated by the receiver. I highly recommend this place.

We have been customers of Silver Gallerie for the past 4 years or so. On the last order, we had asked for anklets of 325g silver to be made. Sudharshan (owner) agreed to make it fully knowing the purpose of the anklet. When the anklet came, it was completely inflexible and could not be worn. Went back to the shop and even they couldn't get it around the ankle.

This was reported to Sudharshan over the phone about 5 days after receiving the product and we were out of town so let him know that we will get back in 15 days or so. He was OK with it.

On returning, we found that he had gone for 6 months to another country and his wife couldn't help since she had "no clue" about anything going on. So unprofessional!

When Sudharshan came back, things became ugly and we asked for the money back since the product didn't serve it's purpose at all. He kept touting delays etc. but even though there was a slight delay from our end there was a 6 month delay from his end purely for personal reasons!!!! What about that?

1. Sudharshan kept stating that this is a custom order and they have "delivered" it. Isn't it their responsibility to make sure that the product fulfills its purpose as well?

2. We paid INR 29000 for this and, as per the prevailing rate we were supposed to get back INR 12000 or so (price of silver). On initial discussion, he specifically stated that the making charge was INR 10,000. Not sure where did the remaining amount go.

3. We got the product checked by an independent silversmith and he stated that there is 68% silver vs. the 92.5% that was supposed to be there. On letting the owner know about this, he was asking for proof!! It is NOT our job to provide him proof about the authenticity of his product. It was merely informational so that he can validate with his silversmith whether things are actually as promised or not. I have a feeling that all the products that we prurchased over the years will be of sub standard quality if put under the radar and this is what got him riled up since he started shouting and demanding proof. Us being paying customers for all these years have taken the extra step to get this checked - am I supposed to furnish him with that information as well? On parting, he stated "I don't believe you". Honestly, after this incident, it's difficult to believe in this sham of a shop.

I don't know if the reviews for Silver Gallerie are paid or reviewed by known people or not, but they should definitely get the products purchased from here checked. Now that we've already bought multiple things since 4-5 years , it will be a futile task to check it at this point in time but at least we will know the truth. We are done with this shop, leaving with a bad taste in the mouth after this experience - never going to visit again and I urge other patrons to be VERY careful. I believe we have been duped all these years with sub standard products but can only verify that after getting all the products checked (many of which were gifts so that seems to be an impossible task).

As I said to the shopkeeper while leaving the store "the customer is always king" to which he replied "always". BS!!!!!

Pathetic experience and a lack of ownership by Silver Gallerie. They really need to work on their customer handling skills.

Very nice assortment of items and helpful staff. I highly recommend this shop.
