The khichiya papad was the most delicious papad of all time. This place has one of the most beautiful???? ambience for being there with your family. The paneer toofani was great and also the chas was good. The other veg curry (I don't know the name as it was suggested by the place owner) was not very tasty. People who are looking for a place to have kathiawadi food at a very reasonable place must visit here Atleast once. They also have delicious ???? pickles and sweets. I had the ladoo which was very delightful. The best thing is the service you get. Immediate response to your every request and your orders served Hot ???? within 3 to 4 minutes.

Have visited Khodiyar Kathiawadi more than a couple of times now and the experience thus far has always been great. The staff shows as much enthusiasm as you do. The more you enjoy the food, the seem to get a sense of accomplishment and happiness. The food is delicious and I would highly recommend getting their khichya papdi and other classic kathiyawadi dishes. Although the servers would suggest getting the kaju paneer specials, stick to the classics as they do that well. I fin the table to be already to cumbersomely filled up with condiments that you cannot really enjoy the food with enough space to move around freely. The decor is also nice.

DO I HAVE OPTION FOR NO STAR..........Worst experience in this location at (3 Atlantis, near Atlantis Mall, Alkapuri, Vadodara). I have been to one in the Surat & the one next to L&T Knowledge City Waghodia, Vadodara for more than 10 times. Even for been highway locations it is was able to provide best service with great quality of food every time. But having the location in Alkapuri, Vadodara in the prime area, where the flow of customer/crowd is decent, in which they should act accordingly in their behavior.

Firstly, service crew was untrained, but let’s ignore that. A part from that serving of food was done in wrong sequences, like having main course on the table with roti. I order BAJRI NO ROTLO and it was awful, which is the specialty of this place. All the main course dishes we order LILI DUNGRI PANEER MASALA, LASANIYA BATAKA & BHARELA RINGAN RAVAIYA were not that great like rest of the outlets.

But let’s even ignore that, as I have to wait each time to make eye contact with the server or the owner or the manager to get order something. Simple thing like fresh cut Onions were not been able to deliver to us and. Have request more than 4 times. All the Papad were stale & the plastic tray, in which they were serving, was awful & disgusting dirty, seem like it was never been washed or clean.

So, after going thru this experience, at the end we were waiting for bill, which took more than 15mins, so finally we walked out as the place was HOT BOX with Heat inside to pay at the counter. So as other outlet they have wide spread of Mouth Freshers at the counter. But this location has non, and when one of the Guest with us asked to the person at the counter, don’t you have so and so Mouth Freshers, like others? And the answer was “I DON’T KNOW” with very rude behavior, as he didn’t want to talk and mention that you need to buy it if you want it. After that right away he starts talking on his cell phone and ignored us. As he just interested in collecting my money, which I spend Rs.1600.

As I waited further to have conversation with him, but he keeps continuing talking on the phone. I am also in the hospitality industry & I do understand the shortage on the staff, but the attitude of person, worst quality of food & behavior makes it worst more than anything.
