A busy street with congested traffic provides wide range of options for daily shopping needs. There are couple of mobile service centres of large brands and electronic outlets. Medical shops, kirana stores, local food joints and sweet shops. Overall, one of the one stop shopping destination for daily requirements.

It is local market having all types of shops some very famous like kaleva, Bengal sweets etc etc developed in English times where shops were on ground floor and upper floor was residence just like CP. But I think many residents have left area.
The market is designed to serve nearby govt quarters / flats.
Anyway slow market except having few very high turnover shops on main road.
