I visited Dr. Yatin Kukreja yesterday with my wife who was having throat infection. I am writing this review with a lot of disappointment but want to make sure that this doesnt go on with other patients as well.

I have an issue with the whole modus operandi of this doctor. I visited the doctor probably more than a year ago. I faced the same issue at that time as well. Today, i had no choice but to visit his clinic for my wife's throat infection due to non availability of our family doctor and his clinic being the nearest one to my place.

The issue is that he prescribes only those medicines which you ll find availabile with him at his clinic. While of course there are substitutes available but as a patient, your first intent is obviously to get the same med as prescribed by the doc. He knows this thing very well and plays on this psychology. While we were prescribed certain medicines, we decided to not buy these medicines from his in house clinic but roamed for half an hour to find those medicines at 4 other chemists but to no avail. We had no choice but to come back to his clinic. However, we intend to not visit his clinic anytime now.

Firstly, a doctor practicing and simultaneously operating a clinic from the same place- is this not a clear case of potential conflict of interest. Can you seriously expect a doctor to remain independent and unbiased in such scenario.

Secondly, the doctor is trying to create a monopoly wherein patient has to buy medicines from him.

Further, he will always suggest certain 4-5 standard tests in all cases, although I cannot comment on the need of those tests but as soon as the billing is done, at the reception, you will be told offers to get these lab tests done at so called nominal rates, meaning thereby, that they have tie ups with these lab tests agencies as well. Considering all this, would you be able to repose any faith whatsoever in the treatment or his medicines or the doctor himself.

I seriously feel that such malpractices should be discouraged. A noble profession should not be commercialized to such extent that the patient loses his trust itself.

He was behaviour is very soft and suggestions are goods and empressive I am gone there for routine body checkup

Unethical and purely commercial doctor. Only prescribing medicines available with him and unnecessary tests on which discounts are offered at the time of billing
