A very beautiful temple of Lord Shiva located within the vicinity of the Kamakhya temple. The Chinnamasta temple and the Anna Seva Kshetra are just located adjacent to it. One of the five famous temples of Lord Shiva located near the Kamakhya temple. Though the sanctum sanctorum of this temple is located in a dark cave with narrow steps and the floor is also somewhat slippery, but then the atmosphere of the temple is quite divine and calm. One should definitely visit this temple after having the darshan of Maa Kamakhya.

Maha Kameswar Mandir Just beside Anna seva kendra & chinnamastha temple. This is also having narrow steps to get down and see Kameshwar. all the wishes will be fulfilled who prays with utmost devotion.

Beside Chinamastika temple this less well known temple of Lord Shiva is most of the temples of Assam underground submerged in water, earthquake resistant prehistoric temple. You can get free bhog Prasad here during lunch.
