The museum of the legendary Assamese songwriter and singer Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. The sangarahalay displays almost every belonging of him, be it the spectacles he used to wear or the harmonium he used to play the songs in, the bed he used to sleep on, the kurta he used to wear, the awards he won - Bharat Ratna, Dadasaheb phalke, national film awards and many more. It is situated inside the campus of Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra.

Had it with my mates in Twilight. Holds the memories of Bharat Ratna recipient (2019) Dr Bhupen Hazarika. Sparkling lighting, surrounded by the ambiance of his songs.

I have been to Guwahati many times but I have never been to Bhupen Hazarika Museum inside the Kalakshetra. This time I went with my colleagues and I enjoy it as a beautiful place of interest. Kalakshetra includes a cultural museum, library and various facilities for preserving, demonstrating and performing cultural items, besides a children's park. You can enter with an entrance fee of 30 rupees and you are not allowed to bring any food items from outside.
