Powerful goddess. Rating is provided considering suggestions made to management Management needs to improve a lot of things starting from queue lines to guiding and helping devotees. We were informed not to carry mobiles to the temple and deposit before entering into lifts. But, to our surprise, we have seen many people taking pictures in the temple. One can also see the photos uploaded as reviews by other users. Also, seen some fights between devotees and security personnel with respect to permission not provided for senior citizens to enter in different path.

The most famous temple in Vijayawada is Kanaka Durgamma Temple.

She is a divine, powerful goddess and can fulfill most of your desires !

You have to climb steps to go into the temple before.
But now there is a direct lift available, which will take you up in 5 seconds.

Going to the temple in the evening time is most preferable.
As u can experience the cold breeze and the beauty of the place....

You can go Darshan for free

If you want to see the goddess clearly, then it is recommended to take tickets of cost 100rs or 300rs.

There are also other temples available in the top where u can go for free Darshan..

Few years back I went to this temple.

Now it is remodeled and made so much easy to the priligrims

I took 500 rupees tickets direct entry to temple using lift.

Autos are costly.

You get two ladoos for the 500 rupees ticket

It becomes easy as lift facility makes acces good.

Lift capacity is of 21 persons
Lift attenders are there to assist.
