Very dirty place . It doesn't have bathroom (or) bathing room . Because everyone go to temple after making bath in krishna river .

It is one if the neatly maintained ghat on the banks of river Krishna in Vijayawada and also just walkable distance from Durga temple. Thia is the place know for immersion of body remains post cremation for Hindus surrounding places. There are plenty of purohits available on the ghat to do necessary rituals for a fee negotiable. This ghta is also called Durga Ghat.

There is a boating service at this place. You can also go to the Bhavani island from this place only. There are showers for you to have bath. Speed boat costs 200 rs. per person and normal boat 150 rs. Per person but you have to wait till 10 members join you. To go to Bhavani island they charge you 400 rs. There are also special packages and rides such as Banana ride etc.
