I wish there was an option to provide 0 rating. I booked last minute at Agoda and landed at the hotel, my booking was confirmed.

It was late in the night and the receptionist was fast asleep, probably got offended that I woke him, said he doesn’t have any bookings. Made no effort to contact the platform or do anything to help. When I asked for the refund I was told to contact the platform. What’s worse, no one answers phone at Agoda customer care

If you’re doing a last minute online booking, avoid this place

So an update - after chasing Agoda for over a week now, the hotel has denied the refund. Now I am being asked to prove that I stayed at a different hotel to claim the refund

Terrible!! Location is incorrect! Staff drink and sleep without answering calls. No way to contact for support. Pictures Are FAKE!! You Are invited with smell of Alcohol!! And beds on floor. Rooms stink. But do Not worry, they have air freshner handy.

Staff need to have pro customer mindset
Parking facility is inadequate
Wifi had slow/poor connectivity
No inhouse restaurant
Service guy bought the food from outside, which was substandard in quality

Rooms are good, clean & reasonable
