The Srisailam Dam is constructed across the Krishna River in Karnool district , Telangana and Nandyal district, Andhra Pradesh near Srisailam temple town and is the 2nd largest capacity working hydroelectric station in the country.

It's a beautiful dam. Looks good when all the gates are open. But traffic management is not good. People stops in between to see the dam and it cause a long traffic jam.
