This forest in telangana is very dense and shelter for Amy animals. There are rare plant species. This forest on the way to Srisailam is beautiful and it also has a tiger reserve. There are may temples in this forest like Ishta kamna devi, shiva temples. You will have to take permission from forest department in advance.

Trip from Telangana to Srisailam, was a beautiful experience in terms of drive, comfort and weekend getaway. The well-maintained road throughout makes you enjoy scenic view around and comfortable especially when it's a journey of 250-300km. No fancy restaurants on the way but small tea stalls can take care of your basic beverage thirst. However we could not enjoy Dam view as the water level as per the 2nd of July was low.

Vast forest area with presumed animals within its boundaries, roads are very narrow down there and bit dangerous too for drives, driver need to be very careful as maximum area consisting of ghats. Inbetween there lies is Srisailam Dam and it is very beautiful.
