The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming hospitality of the host.
Sonja(host) herself is an incredibly caring and helpful individual who goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a comfortable stay.She also provided invaluable insights into Auroville.
The guest house is a hidden gem nestled amidst the picturesque beauty of Auroville.
I had a peaceful night's sleep every night, and waking up to the gentle sounds of nature outside my window was a real treat.

I would say, my stay at Sonja Umberto Guest House was nothing short of magical. It's a place where you can disconnect from the chaos of daily life and reconnect with nature and your inner self. Sonja's caring and helpful nature, combined with the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, made this an unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat in Auroville.

Stayed with Sonja and Umberto for 6 months since their house is next to the cottage I rented. They're really sweet and helpful and the cottages are cozy and pretty with 'more than basic' amenities. The pets are sweethearts too❤️ They'll grow on you.
