We ordered a South Indian thali and believe me it was worth ordering. It had rice, papad, dry veg, gravy veg, daal, curry, rasam and curd.
One can ask for additional helpings of veggies but in case you need more rice or papad, it will be chargeable.
We also had buttermilk after the thali, and it was quite refreshing.
The food was really good, and though I wanted to eat more, my tummy didn't allow me.
Overall a very good experience.

It was good atmosphere and food wise good but not that much tastier as expected and only vegetarian restaurant.. falooda also not upto mark it was full of fruits and only one scoop of ice cream.

Skanda cafe is an excellent place for authentic South Indian food, great hospitality, the freash fruit juices are excellent, plus I want to specially mention that their freshly made ginger tea did not make me miss my home in mumbai. Their food costs are also very fair. So all in all its a win-win situation for its visitors. All their staff are so helpful , and kind and so generous that made me feel at home. If you are in and around the area you must visit Skanda cafe for sure.....I will recommend it to my friends and family too.
