Second biggest metro station after chennai Central metro. Handles large amount of crowd since it connects metro with Egmore railway station. Huge parking lot available for parking and station is clean and well maintained.

The Egmore metro and the Egmore railway station are connected from inside, but isn’t well marked so chances are that one may miss and walk out and enter the railway station.
Just like some other minor metro stations, this major metro station has a lot of unfinished work because of which it misses the chance to be a great station!
Having escalators for just one direction, non-operational lifts, poorly marked exit options are some of the most noticeable flaws.
I did see conflicting sign saying elders are preferred to sit in an area and another sign which kind of prohibits anyone from sitting on that part- not sure what the slabs are for.

Correct announcement were giving in correct time. Neat environment. Fully air conditioned well maintained metro station. Restrooms available.
