Visiting the Sun Temple(around 1700s) situated on a hill was an awe-inspiring journey that left me speechless. This is undoubtedly a destination that deserves every bit of its five-star rating.
The Sun Temple's location atop a hill provided a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. As I made my way up, the gentle breeze carried the sounds of chirping birds. Also, the first rays of sun falls here.
Upon reaching the temple, I was greeted by an architectural marvel. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the soothing chants and prayers echoing through the halls, transported me to a place of inner peace and reflection.
I highly recommend visiting the Sun Temple to anyone seeking a profound cultural experience and a connection with the divine. Whether you are a history enthusiast, a spiritual seeker, or simply an admirer of art and architecture, this place will leave an indelible mark on your heart and soul.

Breathtaking views especially in monsoon when surrounding is all green, or early morning or late evening. But to reach there, you have to brave steep deserted road with hardly any person in sight, dozens of monkeys and if you are unlucky like us, few scary looking cows and bulls walking towards you with scary looks.
Very beautiful architecture of the main temple with not so pleasing modern upgradation.

It’s a little hike but the view is so worth it! There was an old lady who gave us some rice pops to eat and put a dot on our foreheads and wanted a donation. I guess this is how they do it. Nevertheless a nice experience to visit this temple. Close by is the monkey temple which is also an interesting destination.
