This temple sits atop a height, offering a unique experience. You have two options to reach it: a shorter route and a more scenic one. Locals can guide you to the latter, which is worth the extra time.
For Jaipurites, this temple holds immense spiritual significance. However, it's disheartening to see that it's poorly maintained and quite dirty. The presence of too many monkeys can be a nuisance, and they can even cause damage, like they broke the antenna of our car. People feeding them contributes to the litter problem.
There are two small ponds, one for ladies and one for gents, but the hygiene of the water might be questionable.
Despite these issues, this temple stands as a beautiful artifact for Jaipur. It would be even more remarkable if the government took steps to maintain it better.

It's really a good place to visit. And the view from here is spectacular. But you willl have to do a bit of trek to walk up. It's around 2 - 3 km. But it's really worth it. I would say take your own vehicle to reach there. Also, it's a bit away from the city and you might be out from your network.

Galta Ji Temple in Jaipur offers a unique spiritual experience, with the blessings of the Sun God and stunning panoramic views of the entire city. The temple's spiritual significance and its hilltop location make it a must-visit destination.
However, it's disheartening to note that the short trek to reach the temple is marred by unclean surroundings, suggesting a lack of proper maintenance and care from the authorities. This is indeed a point of concern and can detract from the overall experience.
On a positive note, the temple precincts provide an opportunity to connect with nature and the local wildlife, particularly the friendly monkeys who can be fed with chana (gram). Their presence adds a touch of charm to the visit.
In conclusion, Galta Ji Temple offers a blend of spirituality, natural beauty, and glimpses of Jaipur's cityscape. While the littered trek is disappointing, the temple itself and the interactions with the monkeys make it worth a visit for those seeking a unique cultural and spiritual experience.
