I am from Chandigarh yet I visited this place after a long long time. And I am glad that it has improved a lot in many ways.

Cleanliness is always a concern at tourist places but administration has done well to keep it clean.

Benches are put in place in the small green parks alongside Lake to have a rest and get a view of a lake.

Sculptures put at different places add more to its beauty.

Boat ride, fun ride & food stalls have given additional charm to all people.

One can reach by many ways here. By bus, taxi, by bicycle. Roads around here are normally empty due to restrictions of entry to some vehicles.

Must visit if you are in Chandigarh.

In Winters – Day time
In Summers – Early Morning or Evening

Don't just come and have pics and go.

Come, click some pics, eat food, have boat ride and then either have long walk along the lake or just sit on bench and immerse in beauty of nature for few hours. Yes hours because one won't find peace in hectic lifestyle of city.

Lovely place for those who are finding peace and natural views, you can sit before the lake and can enjoy your moments. It becomes more beautiful at the time of sunrise and sunset. There is a banyan tree where you can relax and on the right side of it , upstairs you can have the view of golf ground. Further there is a way to forest walk and can find some seasonal lotus. You can have food here but it is not so worthy. People love to jog, walk and boating here.

Good place to have fun with family or friends. Scenery is beautiful. You can enjoy there sitting for hours if you love solitude. Keep these things aside now people who give boats here have high rates according to this place. If these were less expensive it would be perfect.
Also best for morning and evening walk.
