However, my visit was somewhat marred by an unexpected cloud cover. The thick mist obscured the otherwise breathtaking view of the waterfall. It served as a reminder that nature's beauty can be elusive and weather-dependent. It's advisable for travelers to plan their visit during the drier months, like December or November, to maximize the chances of enjoying the unobstructed grandeur of Nohkalikai Falls.

Despite the weather hiccup, the surrounding landscape is still captivating. The viewpoint offers a serene atmosphere and opportunities for hiking, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. Nohkalikai Falls Viewpoint remains a must-visit, with the caveat that the best time to fully appreciate its splendor is during the drier months.

The Nohkalikai Falls Viewpoint in Meghalaya, India, is an amazing display of the beauty of nature. From where I was standing, I could see the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls tumbling down from vast heights. I was in awe of the water's majesty as it crashed into the emerald pool below with such intensity. The magic was enhanced by the lushly greened surroundings. The falls were frequently overtook by clouds, giving the scene a dreamlike feel. A photographer's fantasy comes true as they get the ideal snap of this beautiful wonder. I had an unforgettable experience at Nohkalikai Falls Viewpoint where I was mesmerized by the exquisite creativity of nature.

This is just a view point of the Nohkalikai Falls, no way near the water flow. But alas, the sheer flow of waterfall is breathtaking and thrilling. Few eateries around and shops for local handicrafts and spices. Can spend 2 hours walking around and taking pictures of the falls at a distance. A sunset view is reasonable, but difficult for photography as quickly mist takes over.
