Got recommended from a person but felt very disappointed when I had lunch at the Babumoshai. Took a non-veg thali for INR. 180. The quality of rice was not so good and extra rice was chargeable even in the Thali system. I have travelled to many places in India but never found extra rice or dal or curry was chargeable. In West Bengal, the thali concept is very different from the rest of India. I had chicken curry in this thali and found chicken was stiff and not boiled properly. Alu posto curry was just okay. All over the food taste was very average and the quality was below average. Seeing photos in google, I thought the place was spacious but it's a small place. Service was average as I found the behaviour of staff a bit rude. He was not at all happy for my early entry. ( I entered around 12.30pm and the restaurant opens at 11 am.)
