Bit of a late review. We visited the restaurant mid December and were told we had to sit at Lemon Tree's coffee shop Citrus Cafe instead, as the speciality restaurant Republic of Noodles was closed for maintenance work.
I have visited RON many times at Delhi Aerocity and had high expectations of the food. I wanted to play it safe and ordered two usuals from the Delhi menu, the Burmese Chicken Curry with Potato and Lime and a Prawn Pad Thai Noodles.
The food came 45 mins later after 2 follow ups and the food quality and taste was not a patch on it's Delhi counterpart. Truthfully it was quite terrible.
The Burmese curry smelled of uncooked turmeric powder, the potatoes were raw and crunchy and the lime was a wedge of nimbu floating on top. It was quite ridiculous. I missed the velvety curry and creamy yet firm baby potatoes i was used to. The slightly sticky Jasmine rice too was missed on the side and was substituted with a dry dehradun rice from the buffet. Very very disappointing.
Next came the prawn pad thai noodles. The chef informed me that it would be slightly sweet sour. I acknowledged the same as it was a dish I often ate from this brand. What came however could best be described as dessert. The pad thai sauce was earthshatteringly sweet with a bit of sourness. The customery hint of spice was also missing. The noodles contained a total of 3 little shrimps as opposed to the slightly larger prawn i was used to which was usually three times in terms of numbers too.
The noodles were quite inedible so i asked the server to kindly get with something spicy and sour to cut the nauseating sweetness or redo the dish. I was presented with a sweet peanut and chilli paste which just made it worse.
After this nightmarish meal the chef came to ask me how the food was, and being a chef myself i couldn't help give him my honest opinion.
I had also mentioned at the time of booking that we were celebrating a special occasion, however neither did the manager acknowledge it, wish us or extend any special gesture.
Overall it was heartbreaking to experience such a huge difference in taste and quality from one city to the next. Needless to say I am not going back here and I wouldn't recommend it either.

Great place. Loved the authentic Chinese cuisine! It has more than just Chinese cuisine. They have Thai and many more cuisines. ♥️
