The Yellow Mosque is said to have been built by Nawab Siraj ud-Daulah in 1756-57, in the Hazarduari Palace complex, on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. According to the Archaeological Survey of India, as mentioned in the List of Monuments of National Importance in West Bengal, the Yellow Mosque is an ASI Listed Monument. Zurud Masjid is a Muslim mosque. People from the Muslim community pray here. It is located on the Nizamat fort campus in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, India. It is located next to the Hazarduari palace. Nawab Nazim humayun jah built the mosque. The reason for this mosque is that the staff of Hazarduari palace can offer prayers at the time of prayers. It was closed for about 44 years.
