Our stay here recently was beautiful and memorable. Lovely views, beautifully decorated rooms. Open airy balcony, cozy terrace with a good view and a swing chair. The lake is few minutes walking distance downhill. The hosts were lovely people and made us feel like home and always ready to help. Excellent homemade food.
The only issue as others have pointed out in 1st floor is the washroom is not attached. Thankfully when we stayed we were the only ones in the 1st floor so we had the washroom all by ourselves. But new rooms are being built which will hopefully solve this problem in near future.

Mirik Homestay is a perfect place to stay in Mirik. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean.
It’s all home cooked food which makes a great difference.. food is really delicious The Mirik Homestay team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Mirik Homestay again. The price performance ratio is very good."

Stay was amazing here. Stayed here for two nights and it was genuinely worth it. You get what you pay for. Rooms and the bathrooms were clean. The service was extremely homely. They were around to help us out. Mirik Lake is at a walking distance from the homestay. The property has a cute terrace too.
