I am writing this not only to impress and falsify the actuality but would definitely jot down certain traits this hamro stay offers tremendous hospitality,a well set Nepali cuisine-tastes awesome, inspite of all the hurdles we faced for 17 people in the former homestay which couldn't treat them. After a very shabby treatment from Golddelux homestay it was Hamro homestay which rescued us from all uncomfortable stay.

A very humble, generous and live to serve attitude was witnessed.People throng the hills for serenity and peace and a mammoth service during the stay is what is commendable here.

Long live the host and other staff as we embrace you in all aspects.

Phubsang and her family who own and operate Royal Homestay (aka Hamro Homestay) in Mirik are in essence a true representation of what a family run Homestay should be like wherein their humility and compassion combined with the courteous approach towards the guest is what overpowers the need to seek any further materialistic comfort.

What prompted me to write the aforementioned is the fact that she really bailed us out of a very nasty situation where in we were travelling with a group of 17 adults and 8 children and ended up booking a different property new Phubsang's which oversold itself and it turned out to be a nightmare with no water, no electricity and 25 people trying to adjust in 4 rooms and worst all the absence of the concerned person to address the issues at hand.We were left to fend for ourselves.

Having stayed with Phubsang and family earlier we approached her for help early next morning and knowing completely well it's going to be difficult to feed 25 heads she still willfully agreed to not only provide meals but also alloted all the vacant rooms for us.All this while she still had some other guests to take care of.

My friends and I are truly indebted to the Gurung Family for not only saving of trip but also for their generosity.

And not to forget the awesome food they serve.
