I travelled to Kurseong in March 2022 and stayed at this govt hotel for a night. I didn't book it online. When I reached early morning, the receptionist asked me to book it online and so, I immediately booked it online at the spot. Since check in was at 11:00 a.m. and I arrived at 7:00 a.m. and so I kept my luggage at the reception, freshened up, had a quick breakfast at the restaurant of the hotel and then went out for sightseeing.

I checked in late afternoon after I returned from the sightseeing. The govt. hotel is located right next to the main road and in the centre of the town. The wooden style architecture of the hotel gives it that old world charm. The hotel is clean. Breakfast is complimentary. I found the room clean as well. There is hot shower.
I wished the hotel staff had clean the surrounding specially the side which is not facing the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful. Whether you are traveling as a solo traveller or with friends or family, then you can stay at this hotel. It is safe and secure.

Conveniently located property. The market is less than 10 minutes walk. As are the jeep stand and railway station. Rooms are typical of WBTDC properties. But if you get lower basement rooms, then you'll have to use the stairs as there is no lift. Food was good, an service too.

I have come to this place several times and I love it each time. The standard rooms are moderate without balcony and the delux rooms have balcony. The food is very good. Though I found it a lil pricey but the food quality is good.
Overall very good experience.
