I love food but don’t like to stick to restaurants catering tourists and for that reason I had a great time visiting places the locals go while tasting a sample of snacks, sweets, warm and cold drinks. Muzaffar is very knowledgeable and a proud Kolkata, he provides an interesting commentary of the various points in the city. We hit a few food stalls that Muzaffar made sure were safe for unaccustomed tummy :-)

KOLKATA is the capital of India’s West Bengal state.It was the India’s capital under the British raj from 1771 to 1911.This city is also known by it’s beautiful architecture and most importantly it’s culture. Most of the people speaks “BENGALI” language. The city is also known as “The City Of Joy”.So many tourist places, many history etc. The world famous Howrah Bridge is also located in this city. One of the largest festival called “Durga Puja” is also observes here in Kolkata.This city is also famous for “ROSOGOLLAH”and “MISTI DHAI”.When queen “VICTORIA” came India then she built a palace in KOLKATA to live. Now her palace is one of the tourist place in Kolkata.This is just a few examples. The night view of this city is so colourful and beautiful that if you don’t see this you can’t believe that what I want to say.The West Bengal government is doing a great job to improve this city.KOLKATA is just not a city, it is emotion and satisfaction.
