It's a burning ghat,well maintained cleaner with good seating arrangement for families of the deceased and mostly arrangement for electric furnaces though even wood burning arrangement is also available.

It is the most modernised, well managed and well decorated burning ghat for the hindus having 8 burning chulahs and the restrooms for the relatives of the dead persons who use to come for burning the dead bodies with ac facilities. Here Satyajit Roy , Suchitra Sen like eminent persons were burnt .
