Sealdah railway station is one of the biggest railway stations in India. It is the heart of Kolkata. The station consists of 21 platforms. Express trains as well as local trains are also generated from there. But the drawback is the trains are run too crowded. Otherwise the station connects many routes via railway and outside the station it connects many places via roads. Bus auto taxis are all accessible there.

This is indeed a very big rail station. Millions of people go to their respective places everyday using this station. Yet there's not enough place to sit and wait for the train. The security management is impressive though. Finding help desk is tough i guess... During summer this place feels like burning hell. Since train communication is one of most important communication systems in India, Stations like these should be brought under AC. Running 2 or 3 fans wouldn't cut it.
