Doctors are too good and concerned. Staffs of the hospital are very attentive.

SWETA AGRAWAL 24 months ago

I am Sweta Agrawal, have lost my husband. I am alone in this cruel earth.
My husband Om Prakash Agrawal was admitted twice under Dr T.K.Banerjee. On discharge of 1st time he suggested for Peg Tube, and as due to folis cathetar urine infection was occurring Dr. suggested for nel cathetar.
. So after few days again he was admitted. It was done by Dr Mahapatra ,Gastroentologist on 2nd day of admission. He was a patient of advanced parkinsonism. During operation his mouth was so forcibly stretched to open that the jaw was locked.3 days he was kept with wide open mouth with locked jaw. Neither Dr. T.K.Banerjee nor Dr Mahapatra noticed that. When I pointed out this to Dr Banerjee suddenly he remembers about jaw lock. Again jaw was fixed through operation and for 3 days his head to jaw was under bandage. These 3days he was running temperature and enough lung secretion was there. But during these 3days neither nel cath was put nor his chest Xray was done. So after 3days locked jaw operation bandage was removed. On 4th day preparation of nel cath started. And it took 2 days. Then suddenly Dr.T.K. Banerjee informs me that my husband's x-ray showing patch patch of pneumonia. Some antibiotic iv was started and he told I can take him to home and continue the full doses. My husband's hand and leg /feet was swollen for 10/12 days, Dr was not helping with magnesium sulfate treatment. Nurse/Brother didn't changed his position as usual. Even they didn't informed about the bed sore. So the patient was discharged by renowned Doctor T.K.Banerjee with temperature ,abnormally swollen hands and leg/feet, pus oozing from peg tube and bed sore. Why???
And for all these I have paid more than 2.5 lacs of rupees. Can somebody tell me why he was discharged in this condition. 1/5/22 evening he was discharged, 2/5/22 afternoon he passed away. Who is responsible for this unnecessary suffering?

Had a BAD experience in 2020 while getting my father treated who ultimately passed away. We were left extremely dissatisfied with the overall quality of treatment. Other than extracting loads of money, this place is also mismanaged. More appalling is the attitude of few doctors who for some misplaced reason think that they are doing some favour to patients ! Bigger joke is the arrogance of few junior doctors who without even having an iota of achievement and being trainees behave as if they are Nobel laureates !! Admin staffs are nice and cooperative though.
STRONG RECOMMENDATION would be to AVOID this place ! Wish there was an option of zero or negative rating ! Very grudgingly, I am having to rate 1 star
