Food is good.. my mom's one of the fav restaurants in Kolkata. The ???? items are best and they serve good quality food..
We always order mutton handi whenever we are here but this time the quality of the mutton was not good. Irrespective of mentioning repeatedly to serve solid pieces only, they had served mutton with bones and fats.
Hence I have given four stars

Located on the side of jessore road. nearby bus stop birati more.
Location good
Parking space not much. Can be parked on nearby road
Food Tasty. Good place for kabiraji cutlet n fry. But can be better. They need to upgrade the taste of other dishes.
Service fast
Staff courteous
Decent washroom
Overall a good experience.

Mitra Cafe is one of the best place of Kolkata to taste Fish fry and others snacks. The most famous dish here is Fish Fry and Fish Kabiraji. Fish Kabiraji is one of the most delicious dish of the restaurant. Most of the visitors come here is to taste Fish Kabiraji and Fish fry.
They have many branches all over Kolkata. It is one of the oldest and very popular restaurant of Kolkata. If anyone is visiting Kolkata and wishes to taste authentic food of Bengal, then you may visit the place. I would strongly recommend this place for evening snacks...
