This is one of the oldest Food Joint in Kolkata Central. My suggestion to the visitors is not to go by the ambiance of the place but to bathe within the Historical dew and lip smacking culinary of this food joint commonly and lovingly known as the Canteen. The recommended dishes here are Chicken Stew, Butter Toast, Egg Devil, Moughlai Paratha, Fish Fry. The other dishes are equally tasty, however the above said dishes are the ones that made this place famous for what it is. The ambiance however not that cozy, but you can enjoy the open breeze and soothing atmosphere as you sip the hot tea from white porcelain cup. The price is highly reasonable and if you want a quick healthy bite while shopping in esplanade area this place is highly recommended.

Awesome place for evening snacks. Moghlai parota, Egg devil chop, Fish fry , Chicken stew is a must try. So reasonable price.
