It is likely that Kali’s origins begin, as do the origins of most divine figures, with tribal folklore deeply rooted in the history of humankind. The name Kālī first appears in the Atharva Veda, a collection of hymns and mantras published between 1200 BCE and 1000 BCE. However she is not a goddess but rather a fierce black tongue, one of seven belonging to Agni, the god of fire. It is another 400 years before Kali is described as an individual in her own right,

DONT FALL THE SCAMS
Pandit’s misguide you and says prayers you don’t ask for and extort money. They will take you to different spots and every prayer every sin door will cost you money. Avoid weekends to avoid the crowd.

Pandits are always try to misguide the tourist. They always want money visited the temple they are asking me money aggressively just in front goddess ideal.Though I appeared as south indian, gave him 10/- still that pandit asking for more in a aggressive manner. I don't want to give him more than that, then another pandit beside him interfere asking for more money in rough manner, all this occurred in front of the goddess temple inside the main temple,no body want to quarrel to them because of that temple spiritual atmosphere. Requesting the government authoritiest visit south Indian temples(Vijayawada,Tirupati etc..) and learn how to run temples and how to make a it as a perfect tourist place
Once I asked my manager that how many times he visit this temple,he said that he don't want to visit this kind of temple where rude behavior with tourist, making them uncomfortable, asking for money and turning this spiritual place into a irritational atmosphere.
