3 storied building. 10 minutes walking distance from Belgachia metro. Spacious for family programs. Parking places are not available. But you can park in the front of the building on the road. You'll get buses for Babughat, Barasat, Howrah, Bali halt etc from the front of the hall.

At first glance, this hall looks perfect for all occasions. There is one large hall and one room on each floor. There are also two bathrooms and two sinks. All halls and rooms are air conditioned as well as the ground floor lobby which is a fairly significant positive. The rent is also very affordable compared to other air-conditioned halls in the north of the city.

Once you have made the booking and begun the planning process, some significant cons become visible. The lift doors often get stuck on each floor and you have to get the caretaker to fix it. The cleaning is not thoroughly done and only the fact that the building is new keeps up the appearance of cleanliness. This is especially with the bathrooms, as usual. However, the biggest issues we faced were with the unionised decorators who will do the necessary arrangements for your big day.

As far as I could tell, there were different people for different dates and not everyone will get the same decorator. The short flower arrangement man is someone one should be very wary of if you get him. He is not in anyway a bad person but he will look to fleece you of your money any chance he gets. The decorator person also tried to force us to take more sofas than we wanted. The "stage" for the bride and groom is always there and you have to pay for it whether you want it or not. You have to be very good at haggling to save that money. Only the electrician was very nice and even threw in an extra metal light for half the price because of a storm on the day.

Be very careful when booking this hall. As I said, the building itself and the location are very good but there are certain issues that are not very big, but will definitely annoy you when you're trying organise a big function. The people doing the decorations will absolutely try to take as much money off of you as possible. These are obviously all based on our experiences and hopefully, if you are careful, you'll have a better experience.

I felt it as well spacious with lift facilities and good for any program for 2 to 3 hundreds of people. I recently attended a marraige ceremony over there and I liked all the amenities like washrooms, air conditioning etc.
