The cold surgical building of medical college kolkata,
It's a multi-speciality block with
1.Gynae and OBS out patient department
2.Interventional radiology department -digital subtraction Angiography is done here.
3.Medical and surgical gastroenterology deparment.
4.critical care unit.
5.Department of orthopaedics and plastic surgery respective wards.
6.Department of neurology with ward.
7.Department of Anaesthesia.
8.Department of neuro surgery with ward.
9.Department of paediatric surgery with ward.
10.Department of surgical oncology with ward.
It's also houses 2 operating complexes on the 4 and 5th floor respectively.

It is a building inside medical college kolkata. It has many departments within this building like all the superspeciality depts - dermatology, oncology, orthopaedics, and many more. It also had a CCU and a OT complex within it.

Actually this is not a review of Green Building... But, the review for the health infrastructure in general... With all due respect to Sir Green after whom the building is named...this is to inform all concerned that while my college has excellent and extraordinary doctors and professors leading to a prompt diagnosis of rare and complex diseases... The NURSING and HOUSEKEEPING infrastructure is dismal; mostly managed by relatives of patients till date????...and the only job of NURSES is to give the whole medicine to relatives; even for bed-ridden patients on Ryles' Tube... And the relatives have to crush and powder the medicine with whatever they find in the ward before giving the same through Ryles' Tube... Overall Horrible and nightmarish experience for the patient relatives ... Should have been given 1✴️...But since it's my alma mater... A 2✴️ from me????
